I made a shaped card from the post by making a card and then cutting just below the 

cut line in the die. Then to cover the sliver on top that gets cut I added another 

patterned paper die cut.

I made a sweet shaped card by using the bucket die (cutting a folded card just above the cut line as the card) and then adding another bucket panel and then the flowers and leaves.

Snowman Fun!

Happy Monday!

 I have some fun snowman cards to share today using new stamps from the Be Merry Collection at Spellbinders. 

Who doesn't love a cute snowman? 

I went pretty simple on today's cards using colored cardstock for the backgrounds. Both cards use Friendly Snowmen and Essential Classic Labels dies. My forst card uses a sentiment from Home For Christmas Sentiments

Gnome Fun!

 

Happy Sunday!

I have two projects to share today using the new Holiday Gnomes stamps set from the Be Merry Collection at Spellbinders. 

I made a watercolory panel for the background and then used my Mini MISTI to stamp sentiment and heart and  the gnome from Holiday Gnomes. I colored him up with markers and the cut him out and popped him up with adhesive dots. 

This card uses the colors from Art Nudge #70

My next card uses Holiday Gnomes and Essential Classic Labels dies.

 To make the background I cut the largest die from Essential Classic Labels and used it as a mask on my card. I inked the card in blue and splatted with white acrylic paint. I removed the mask and then cut another and stamped it with the cute snowflake from Holiday Gnomes multiple times in the same blue ink I used for the background. I then used my Mini MISTI to stamp the gnome. I colored him, then cut  and the attatched him to the card. I added the sentiment to finsh the card.
