I have SIX new stamp sets this month!

Sunflower Season is a general sayings set (not just Fall) that coordinates with the new Sunflower die & Sunflower Paper Pack. I really like this sweet set.

Alphabet Words - Fall coordinates with our Thin Alphabet & Capital Alphabet dies or the phrases and images can be used on their own for Fall cards.

Zombie Treats is a not so scary zombie set with assorted mix and match sayings. It coordinates perfectly with an older stamp set called Zombie Sayings

Little Monster is a cute monster set that has faces that coodinate with a number of other stamp sets and dies. it works perfectly with the new Fuzzy Monster 1 & Fuzzy Monster 2 dies

Apple for Teacher is perfect for teacher gifts and cards. It also coordinates really well with the new Back Pack dieApple dies & Colored Pencil stencil

Sprinkles & Confetti is a simple two step stamp set that can be used as a solid stamp, an outline or a combo of both. The faces & sentiments are also fun paired for the new Sugar Cookie die,  Fuzzy Monster 1 & Fuzzy Monster 2 dies. The faces fit perfectly on the icing part of the sugar cookie die for some happy cookies.

 Here's one for the zombie lovers using Zombie Treats, Zombie Sayings, Mid-Sized Frame, HalloweenSunflower Paper Packs

You may have noticed some fun blocks in the backgrounds of my projects. I got some 2" bare wood blocks and covered them in patterned paper - easy peasy project. I used the Monster Colors and Monster Prints Paper Packs for my blocks. These would be so fun in a tabletop display for Halloween.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
from Impression Obsession

We are downsizing our warehouse and will lose the space where our production equipment is located. Sadly, this means we will not be able to produce ANY red rubber stamps after the end of the month. They will be removed from the site on May 15, so if you've been thinking of ordering some, head on over!

Happy news! I have new stamps!

Sweet Citrus & More Sweet Citrus stamp sets coordinate with the new Sweet Citrus dies & Citrus Colors Paper Pad. These sets are perfect for birthday & friendship cards.

Reach for the Stars is a fun what I call a "general" set that works for many occassions. I used it today as a graduation card. It works great for guy cards & so many more occassions.  It coordinates with the new Primitive Stars die set & Stars & Stripes Paper Pad

I also have 2 new red rubber background stamps called Grungy Dots & Grungy Stripes. These are a little bittersweet for me because I really think they are my favorites that I've made and will only be available for 2 weeks. I've shared some background techniques with them below. If you like them grab them while you can!

`````````````````````````````````
My first card uses the stars from Reach for the Stars  over the Grungy Stripes background stamped in pink for a fun and easy textured background.
Here's another fun background idea. I stenciled a background using Balloons & Open Balloons stencil in citrusy colors. Then while the Open Balloons stencil was still in place I stamped in yellow with the Grungy Dots stamp. I love the texture!
Here is a fun way to create a multi colored background with one stamp. I used a MISTI stamp platform for this (so the stamp always lands in the same spot). Ink an area on your stamp (this one uses Grungy Stripes) in your lightest color and blend out the edges of the ink on the stamp before stamping to avoid any hard edges. Repeat with different colors until you have the coverage that you like. After the background was done I used the Rectangle stencil to create a faux frame.
One more background technique!
I stamped the back panel in yellow ink (white cardstock). Then I used the Windows stencil in a darker yellow to create the squares "frames". Easy peasy!
